Farewell, Blogger
Welcome to my new home online! I finally found the time and the energy to unite my blog and my portfolio into one whole website, hopfully more interesting to visit and, for sure, easier to update and add to. There is still a little fixing here and tweaking there to be done, and some sketchbooks to upload, but on the whole it´s finished.
I hope you will all feel at home here. Please update your bookmarks (oh, isn´t it presumptuous to take for granted that people have bookmarked her site?!), and why not take the chance to become the first Follower right there in the sidebar?
11,5 x 16 cm, Copic Multiliner SP and watercolours on crappy sketchbook paper, and Photoshop for a digital touch.

It looks wonderful, Nina, congratulations! I did indeed bookmark it and will be watching for your updates!
Yay, MayO! You were the first EVER to comment on this site! Thanks!
(The comments in the older posts are imported from my old Blogger blog, so they don´t count!)
Wonderful new site, Nina. Love the welcome illustration and I’m changing my bookmark right now.
Wonderful site and work. I’ve been looking for a little while. I love your work (a lot).
Oh, Nina. Lovely work, as always. I especially love your description of the sketchbook paper….

Really great.I’ve loved strolling among your sketches. Great site with plenty of opportunities.
Your blog was among the first ones I followed, so I’ll go on here with a lot pleasure!
hey, hi on the new blog – looking forward to more new inspirational watercolors in my rss feed from you
Hi Nina, caught your post on the EDM Yahoo group. I’ve lurked on your blog from time to time but never commented (shame on me!). Anyway, congrats on the new blog/portfolio site. I had to take a look because I’m in the process of doing the same thing, will probably launch it in a few weeks. Like you, it was time to say goodbye to blogger. Anyway, I love your paintings and will check in frequently to see your site.
Oh Word press scares me
but your site looks flawless and I have book marked it – Good Luck!!
Of course your site is bookmarked — such a wonderful place to get inspired! Thanks for reminding us to update. The new site looks great — I love seeing your photo!
Nina, love your new home, thanks for the warm welcome. Your creativity knows no bounds and I love being along on your artistic ride. As you know….I LOVE YOUR ART!
I’ve been a lurker for quite sometime and am such a fan. Great work and I hope to learn from your work.
Welcome to your new (blogging) home, Nina!! I did indeed bookmark your other site and will do the same with this one as soon as I finish my visit.
Hope you settle in well and get those tweeks worked out
Greetings from the west coast of Canada!
Beautiful site and a very nice painting!
Yes, I am updating my link, I love your work.
Good move – it looks really great!
Greetings from New Hampshire (USA). This site is beautiful and your work is inspirational. I’ve updated the link and will check back often. Thanks!
Lovely new site. Of course it’s bookmarked and thanks for the reminder to change my bookmark!
Looks like everyone is finding you. Don’t think of it as presumptious that we’ll bookmark your site but that if we came to see your new site we could also use the reminder (which I did need, thank you very much). Great welcoming post and picture.
Excellent new site! Layout, colours, headerbar, not to mention the art, is great.
RSS subscriber since Blogger. It’s always a pleasure to find you’ve updated and showing us something new!
I always wanted to ask you if you scan or photograph your art, your watercolours are always so colorful while mine look so bleak (also because I don’t have your skills!!!)
@G.S:
Thanks for your comment! If I post a single page from a sketchbook, or a single drawing, I scan it. But if I am to upload a whole sketchbook I photograph it. It´s harder, because you have to wait for the right light outside to take the photos, to avoid wrong colours and such, but I don´t have the patience to scan a whole book. With paintings I mostly photograph them, they don´t fit in the scanner.
Congratulations, Nina, it’s beautiful! I’m impressed with your amazing variety of skills…
