I biked through town this afternoon, and sat down for a while with a coffee to draw a little. The weather has been absolutely fantastic in Stockholm lately, summer is here!
14 x 14 cm, Lamy Safari with Noodler´s Lexington grey ink and watercolours on Plano 200 gsm drawing paper.

I KNOW, Kate, it´s a bit silly.
I was trying out a new drawing paper here, feels completely different from what I´m used to, so I just chose to try some simple washes without having to concentrate on colours too much.
The take on the BMW 3 Series is awesome! There’s never been a post on your page that I never enjoy. Your style is really inspiring ^^ Sommartider!

It is true it lacks a bit of colours and yet you managed to render the bright sunlight on the building and car ! Well done !
Its funny Kate would comment about the wintery colours in your summer post : ) That was also my first thought, but I love the drawing (and you can draw cars, I dont know what it is, I can draw stuff but cars I just cant get them to look right).
Great drawing as always, and now I miss Stockholm again (love summers there).
Cars are incredibly hard to draw, but quite fun. This one looks a little drunk, but I´m pretty happy with it anyway.
And yes, Stockholm is quite lovely in summer.
Colors?! It is fabulous as it is! The first thought that came to my mind when I saw this one was ‘Wow, it looks so good even in the 2-3 tones that you have used’.. You have a beautiful hand!
Sounds like my idea of a fabulous day: bike ride, beautiful day, sketching. Lovely results too!
A limited palette that still gives you the feeling of sunlight on the windows and the car.
The perspective is good too, wish I could do that!

Tack Christina, jag vet inte om jag klarar av dem, direkt, det är det svåraste som finns att teckna bilar, men det är en kul utmaning. : )
Fantastiskt! Jag imponeras så av dina teckningar, tänk om jag bara kunde få sitta bredvid och titta på när du tecknar någon gång? Jag menar allvar, får jag bjuda dig på fika, och så bara titta på när du ritar?
