Shed, Stuguskär

One of the sheds on the island. Several houses share these sheds. In this painting I thought I´d try working with colours I don´t often use, so I let some pink and yellow go along with the black-and-white shed.
51 x 16 cm, watercolours on Fabriano Artistico 300 gsm rough grain watercolour paper.

Lindo…fantástico.
I love the way you can leave the white space on the sections with color. I would have a hard time stopping. I love these works so much – I’ll be sad when all of the paintings have been posted!
A great collection of paintings!
Shed? That would make a nice cottage! Love the treatment you’ve given this, the bright colors are cheery.

Hehe, yes it would probably make a nice cottage, if only the outdoors wasn´t visible between the facade boards.
I love the way you paint these beautiful buildings. And I’m intrigued to know how you do the side panels or footer panels that you always put onto your paintings.
I will not show a step by step, but the ’side panels’ include a lot of spattering, printing and/or spraying watercolours, a lot of haphazardly taking chances and see what happens and hoping for the best.
