The stable I
A part of the stable that belongs to the old supervisor´s estate at Norrbyskär. If you think you can see a mirrored number 32 and a round symbol to the left in this image, it´s because I printed some blue paint onto the paper with an old peace of wood marked with these signs. Found the wood in a shed on the island.
19,5 x 20 cm, watercolours on Fabriano Artistic0 300 gsm rough grain watercolour paper.

Love the colour choices you made here – like an old sun bleached photo.
I can see why this is one of your favorites. It is a great painting. Love the overlay of the blue on the pink, and the drips, and of course the backwards 32 from the print from wood and the interesting texture, I assume from the same print. Wonderful!
Seeing all your beautiful paintings makes me want to go there. They are so lovely, and I love the use of the stencils and other details you add to them. nancy
