Westwards

If you stand down by the water, just beside that tiny little house to the left in the last painting I posted (”The first thing you see”), and look westwards, this might catch your eye.
52 x 20 cm, watercolours on a quite heavy watercolour paper that I can´t seem to remember the brand of.

OMG, this is just breathtaking! The colors are so beautiful, the clouds are amazing, the brilliance of the sun on the water contrasted with the stillness of the scene – it’s gorgeous. All those colors, and not one drop of mud. All I can say is WOW! nancy
Thank you Nancy. I actually DID avoid too much mud, I´m kind of pleased with that. I can still see some flaws in it, but a flawless watercolour is usually not that interesting anyway, so I don´t mind.
Very lovely!
This is so real!!!
Simply beautiful! 8 O
Gorgeous one! The sun really “shines” in this one =)
WOW, great painting.
Just stunning…
Absolutely breathtaking!
What an absolutely gorgeous painting. Very inspirational. Thanks so much for sharing it.
WOW! The colors are extrodinary.
First sunset – this is one of the most expressive and vibrant sunsets I have ever seen in paint! It is just how I have seen them in life. Love the light, the reflection. I know I haven’t commented, btw, on all of your posts, but I think your last several paintings of the houses and the other horizon scene are wonderful. That must have been an amazing show.
Thanks, Dan!
Exquisite light, Nina!!!
Thank you.
Gorgeous and inspiring, thank you for sharing your work I love it!
FABULOUS!!!!!
Stunning!
You’ve definitely translated the ‘catch your eye’-ness of the scene!
Absolutely amazing and such beautiful colours! I think you could have made a fortune if you had sold prints of this!
Thanks Felicity. I didn´t make any prints this time, I thought it was enough to think of just to pull together the exhibition, but maybe next time.
This really is a very beautiful painting. And you were using watercolor paint!!!!! I know how difficult this is!!!
The clouds, how beautiful, the sun in the water, all those colours. Indeed, everything is clean, no mud. It is a very strong and beautiful painting. You can be very proud on your self.
