The L

The L train, or El for “elevated train”, was a fascinating feature of Chicago. I have only seen this in movies and tv-series, some when I was quite young, so actually standing there in the noise of these rattling trains made me feel nostalgic, strangely enough. Wabash avenue quickly became one of my fav streets in downtown Chicago.

Ooo, komplicerade motiv! Riktigt snyggt gjort! :) /L

    • Tack snälla! L-train var kul att rita, lite svårt, sådär så man får hålla tungan rätt i mun, men det är ju rätt roligt. Kan man dessutom göra det över en kopp kaffe, så är det ju lugnt. :)

  2. I so much enjoy seeing my city through the eyes of you and the other instructors, especially since I could not attend the symposium. Wabash was my favorite street too when I worked in the Loop (until 1990). There was a large bookstore and an art supply store there, but alas, no more. You have captured the feel of the street. Beautiful!
