Stugu
This painting is a little bigger (see measures below), and has a sister painting, coming up tomorrow on the blog. This is one of the houses on the part of the island called Stuguskär, hence the name. There are twelve of these houses, one of which I spend parts of every summer in. I feel lucky to have that opportunity.
50 x 50 cm, watercolours on Fabriano Artistico 300 gsm rough grain watercolour paper.

I think this is my favorite so far! It must be a lovely exhibition…thanks for sharing it with us here!

Thank you, thank you for letting us share in your show! I love this painting – I love the way you mix patterns with structure. They’re interesting, complex, and lovely. nancy
I’m amazed you find time and imagination to do these wonderful renditions along with your busy life!
simply…..GORGEOUS!
Fantastic composition and texture, Nina! Just lovely
Both these pieces are superb but this one’s my fav. I love the inclusion of pattern – the way it’s implied but not imposed. Inspirational!
Very beautiful!!
